Halloween Decoration Ideas
Halloween, arguably the best time of the year! But where to start in terms of decorations? Whether you want to go for rustic, cute, unique or scary, we have you covered. Have a read through our ideas and get decorating. Happy Halloween to all!
Seasonal Fruit and Veg
What better way to decorate your home this Halloween than to adorn mantelpieces and windowsills with seasonal fruit and vegetables. Pumpkins, squashes and apples are all in season at Halloween and come in beautiful warm rustic colours. Gather Pumpkins, squashes and apples in all different colours shapes to create an interesting display. On Halloween night you can carve the pumpkins and use the insides for a pumpkin soup. On November the 1st (All Saints Day) cook squashes and use the apples to make an apple pie. Fully sustainable and edible decorations - yum!

Project Spooky Scenes
One of Rebecca’s best random lockdown purchases was (drumroll please)… a projector! It’s a great and simple way to transform any room. On YouTube you can find a range of spooky scenes that play for hours. You can display these scenes using your projector whilst you host a Halloween party, or just for extra ambience whilst you watch a scary film or do some Halloween crafts. Create your own Window Silhouettes
All you need for this is black card, some scissors and something to attach the card to your window (BluTack will work). Draw out some spooky shapes, such as creepy trees or ghosts, cut them out and stick them to your window. Turn on your lights and voila from outside there will be some great decorations to welcome trick-or-treaters. As a bonus, during the day when the sun shines in through that window you’ll get some spooky shadows cast in your room. Alternatively, you could get some chalk pens and decorate your windows with these.
